It's Sharon's birthday today, and we decided on a pyjamas party for this day. It's a simple party. We booked a hotel room, get every one to come in their pjs, and have dinner and play some games. And everyone will have to down 1 shot of whiskey on arriving.

Thanks to Emily, I managed to book a room in Golden Landmark Hotel at quite a good rate. The normal check in time is 2pm, but we want to go in a bit earlier to prepare. Emily told me I can check in as early as 11am, but we'll probably go in at 1pm.

Unfortunately, Sharon got held up that morning, and we only managed to reach the hotel after 2pm. I finally get to meet Emily in person at the hotel counter. She's a very pretty and nice lady, too bad I forgot to take a picture of/with her. Wonder if she'll let me even if I ask though.

Our room number is 1724, sounds like 一起饿死, die of hunger together in mandarin, not a good sign. :P

The view looks quite nice. Emily told me that the other side of the view is the swimming pool, but she can't give me those rooms as those are with a double bed, while we wanted 2 single bed.

We put down our stuffs and leave the hotel. I wanted to go eat the fried fish bee hoon near Beach Road market.

Along the way, we were walking on Arab Street. The buildings there are only 2 stories high, and most of the shops are Indian shops. Add to the fact that we just walked out of a hotel, it almost feel like we were oversea and having a sight seeing tour.

After lunch, we went to the market for some shopping. Bought a box of face camouflage paint for the game later. We also bought some 鸭母林 for snack, and Sharon bought a new pair of sandals. It's about 4 pm by then, and we have to go get the stuffs for the party at night. Sharon went back to the hotel with our snacks and Thierry and I went to Bugis to get the stuffs.

We saw Bryan Wong and his gay pink wings doing the filming of Love Bites 2 at Bugis, but we did not stop to look much. We were in a hurry to cold storage. We bought Yu Sheng, 2 packet of ice, 3 bottles of drinks, 1 pack of orange juice, 1 small pack of milk and some snacks. We needed 2 more packs of ice, but we can't carry them anymore, so we asked Daniel to get the other 2 packs.

We hurried back to the hotel to have a bathe and change to our PJ before the others come. The girls arrive first. Sadly, the idiotsthey refused to change to pj before coming and insists on changing in the room toilet. They refused to drink the shot of whiskey as well. =.= came next. His pj is with Thierry, so he's forgiven for not wearing the pj here. And he willingly gulps down the shot of whiskey. After =.=, it's PS. He is as idioticrefused to come in pj as well. But at least he took his shot of whiskey.

The best is Big Bird. He really comes in pj. He drove here in pj and park in the car park. Walked up to the shopping center, through the shopping center, pass the lobby and took the lift to our room. Thumbs up to him! And he also took his shot of whiskey. That’s how a partygoer should behave!

After everyone has arrived, we have a lucky lou hei and some pizzas. The food is quickly done with and we proceed on with our first game.

We have 2 stack of cards. 1 stack consists of 6 cards with the numbers from 0-5. We call it the tens. The other stack consists of 10 cards with the numbers from 0-9. We call it the ones. 1 person, the host, will drew 1 card from each stack and forms a secret number with the tens in front. That is, if he drew 3 from the tens, and 5 from the ones, then the secret number is 35. Only the host knows this number.

The host will then call a number from 0 to 2. Everyone will take turns to increase that number by 1, 2 or 3. Whoever reached the secret number will have his/her face drawn on by the host, and then he/she will be the next host. If the host himself/herself reached that number will have his/her face drawn by the previous person. Other than the host, every 1 have the chance to either reverse or pass his turn once. So by passing or reversing at the appropriate time, one can actually avoid calling out the secret number.

This what we look like at the end. The drawings on Selina, Hebe and Ella are actual drawings taken from the faces of =.=, Tiff and Big Bird. They forbid me to show their pictures so Selina, Hebe and Ella agreed to stand in for them. They even agreed to drawing the same drawings on their faces. So sporting.

After the cake, it's more games. We played a number of games, and all of them needs some brain processing. The forfeit is a quarter glass of Whiskey Coke. So you can imagine that the poor gets poorer in the games. As you make mistakes, you drink more alcohol, which will cause you to make even more mistakes. =.= is a classic example that night.

We played for awhile before Big Bird have to go. He brings with him Tiff and FL, so left Thierry, Sharon, Sotong, PS and me. =.= has left earlier. I felt quite hungry, so we walked to the food court beside Allson Hotel for some Bak Kut Teh. It's lousy. Back at the hotel, PS and Sotong went to sleep on the 2 beds, while Sharon, Thierry and I lay on the floor and chat. PS and Sotong left at day break, leaving 3 of us to check out the room. We went for breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We only have 2 coupons but there are 3 of us, but the nice guy at the restaurant let us in anyway.

We packed up and checked out after breakfast. Quite tempted to take a cab back, in the end we took MRT anyway. It's quite a fun party I feel. I enjoyed it, I hope the rest enjoyed it as well. Maybe we'll have another one some time in the future...
