Joined Kelvin for a game of court soccer tonight. I am not sure what the place is, it used to be NIE, at Bukit Timah, near Newton. There's supposed to be 12 of us, but only 6 turned up. It’s a good thing that I went, they will have a hard time with 5 men. The last time that Kelvin asked me to go, I did not turn up. It's pretty inaccessible to me. But that time they had 9 men. This time it's still inaccessible, of cause :P, but I took a cab.

Anyway, back to the game. I think the goal is pretty big. Too big for 3 on 3. It's like quite easy to score, I scored quite a number of goals. We did not keep track of the goals, but the last 3 are by me. :D

In terms of skills, the others are better than me. I think I am probably the lousiest in terms of ball control. My other team mate is really superb. He is like Thierry Henry. He can just dribble by himself and beat all the opponents and score. Despite my lack in skills, somehow I scored a number of goals. I must be a natural striker. Haha!

Not sure why, but I find it quite easy to score goals tonight. We have to be 2/3 into their half of the court before we can shoot at goal. And once I get into that area, I am pretty confident of getting a goal. I think it's due to the goal being big, and that there are walls behind the goal and at the side of the court. This could have made it easier for me to tell where the goal is, and I can pretty much turn and whack the ball in the direction of goal without really looking at it.

But yea, it felt quite good. There are more running on the court due to it's smaller in size compared to field. In court, and in 3 on 3 games, you are always involved in the play. At the later part of the game, I got so tired that I did not went back to help out in defense. Not that I don't want to, but I am too tired to run back. There are also more passing and cooperation among the players. I am not sure of the reason for this, but it sure makes the game that bit more enjoyable!
